I’m the type the person who always love to research on internet to check where is the best places to get to best view/shots of the attraction, and I found this nearby Hotel called Palace downtown (walking distance from Dubai Mall) can take a nice view of it.
This location is actually located outside of the Hotel.
I was staying at Al barsha at that time, so I actually took metro to Dubai Mall metro station and take a taxi from there. To save cost, you can walk from Dubai Mall (you need to go in to Dubai Mall and find where is the fountain located at and walk straight from there). You will pass by a restaurant, and once you cross the small bridge, head up to the stairs and you arrive at the destination.
